The Quiet SeasonThe Quiet Season

The Quiet Season -watercolor of snowy landscape, covered bridge by Gerry McKeown

The watercolor The Quiet Season was inspired by a winter walk along the Big Elk Creek in Fair Hill Natural Resources Area in Cecil County, Maryland. Numerous snows that winter had blanketed the landscape in white and on that the cold winter day I was alone in a meditative world of quiet and solitude.

The original watercolor is also still available.
