HEVERIN DECOYHEVERIN DECOY

Heverin Decoy: original watercolor painting by artist Geraldine McKeown

William Heverin (1860-1951) was a decoy maker from Charlestown, Maryland who also hunted and fished on the North East River. His decoys are very collectible today and this one is from my collection. It rests in an old box filled with decoy heads near a window in my studio.
